Downloading, installing and running the auto patching software.

1st off check you have the latest version of java

click here to check (java.com)

This will download and run an installer, if you have the latest version of java then you wont need to install any thing. If you don't then you will need to install the update, or the full version if you don't have java on your PC.

Once you have java up to date download the latest auto patching software from below.

When you click one of the links below you will be asked to save or open. Click save and save to your desktop (see pic)

Click here to download the auto patching software in .rar format (no guide on how to unpack this)

Once the download is finished (about 4 seconds), locate it on your desktop, right click, click open with > compressed (zipped) Folders (see pic)

This will open up another box like this

Double click the folder called auto patch and you will see this

These are the 2 files that you need to put in your Mir folder.

Leave the above window open well you do the next step.

Finding your Mir folder.

To find your Mir folder you need to find you Mir shortcut, 9/10 this is on the desktop. The Mir shortcut is the icon you double click to access the server. Find your Mir shortcut and right click on it then select properties

you will then see this screen

click on find target and this screen will appear

Your Mir folder might have some more icons in it, but it will have at least the 5 above in it.

Now all you need to do is, go back to the 1st window

click and hold down your mouse on the 1st icon then drag it in to your Mir folder, then do the same for the second icon.

If you have done this right your Mir folder will now look like this

Now double click the icon call Mir Revenge Auto Patch, wait a few seconds and you will see this screen

the auto patch software will scan all the files on the server and compare them to the files on your PC. Once it has done this it will show you this box.

Mines says 9247 files as I was doing a full install.

Once you click ok the software will start to download all the updates for you. Once the updates have finished download, run Mir Revenge like you would normally.
