BG's on PI

I am just playing the usa gamepot server, waiting for this one to get started, and they dont have BGs, will that be the same for this server???

I've also noticed alot of the items are worth next to nothing nowadays, EG D bells, vios, p rings, stuff like that you can pick up for 2m easy, is that because you can find these sort of items via fishing? if so, dont bother with it...... its so g@y, everyone on this server is walking around in the best kits possible...... on the old mir, you would see the odd person who had the best of the best,,, and thats how it should be, people who put the time n effot into the game get rewarded...... not going afk fishing and stuff waking up the next morning to 20m worth of items in ur bag for nothing.

Anyway, just thought id post

No plans to remove BG, plan to fix it so people cant un group.

Fishing not being added full stop!!

There is a lot of work to be done once the server goes in to alpha testing, mainly restating all the mobs to make them worth trying to kill, as with the old files i was limited on how much damage a mob could do.

Awwww thank god for that!

How will bgs work? on the old one i was 3 of each class, but now we have the Sin, how would that fit in?

The other problems is that ninja's are going to be much lower levels then the rest of the player to start with.

at a guess i would say that we would say 2 of each type.

how about you just need 9 players at least 3 different types?

so you could have any number of them.

vio d rings power rings etc, were going at bout 2-500k i think, not overly common but not really rare, but server is over 3 years old, ur average lvl was around 80 and am i right in guessing u have rewound server back to before horrificly stupid exp etc whenu was originally closing it? theres lots of kits for lvls u just need to know where to hunt. off top of my head lvl 60 kit i aint got a clue wat dropped. ZT etc it think.

Yeah people seem to forget that the server was up for 2 years and 5 months ish (longest 2.3 server ever

) without a wipe. (project 69 might have been up longer now, but i am not sure if they do wipes or anything on that server) Due to some major bugs in the files, and some major *** up in scripts (down to me), there were a few rewinds and some uber EXP events.

However people see level 95 characters and think it's impossible to catch up, when really it wasn't due to some bug levels, the fact you could buy EXP scrolls in game with GG and GP from some of the NPC's in game. I have said all along that the levels will be sorted out once the server is back up, and i still plan on sticking to this, poor ezzo!

and futhermore, you wouldn't expect to start any game after it's been running for 2 years and be able to get within the top 10 within a few weeks like some people expect.

not entirely wat i meant, ill give an example. TimeSplitter was lvl 147 i think, or there abouts! however myself rich and mich wasn on over the last 2 weeks of the server being up due to being away or out n about, over them 2 weeks or a couple of days u did exp events and ppl who were like lvl 100 got to 140ish.. now before u sort ALL levels out are u going to take these levels back off people? as this was an event due to u were originally gonna just close server completely, as this event would have been pretty **** for server other wise ad tbh i think if u there not losing the lvls it is bang out of order not on just people who leveled constantly but those who donated for exp chests etc. Oh and them ****ed up items going yea? omakingring etc??
