    Default New stats?

    I have talked about new stats in the past, but going to go a bit more in depth now.

    As you know we currently have

    DC
    MC
    SC

    and to counter those we have

    AMC
    AC

    Pretty simple stuff really.

    The whole point of AMC was to block both MC and SC, although SC is said to be stronger then MC there was still on a single stat to defend against both. I think that this is mainly due to the fact the original Mir 2 never took in to account PVP'ing and PK'ing.

    So... I want to break up the AMC in to 2 parts, AMC and ASC, as you might of guessed from the name, ASC would protect you from SC only, and AMC would protect you from MC only. This would benefit the server in a lot of ways, as we could use the SC attack of monsters, which at the moment is only being used by a few monsters, like 3, 1 of them is the healer monster. It would also make PVP'ing a lot more fun.

    Then there is the question of ninja's, should they have a new stat? I personally think that ninjas do not need their own stat, as giving them a stat would call for a new defence stat, and this really would just confuse people.
    Ninjas magic should be balanced between MC and SC, meaning that people would really have to think about what items to use well playing a ninja, as i only plan on adding new armours and weapons for ninja's, not new rings or bracelets etc.

    I am open to all ideas about the subject so please post away.

    i dont know. as very few pieces of wizzard kit have a semi decent dc on them. And i assume as ninjas primary attacks will be close range that dc will be necceserry.

    But at the same time the amount of characters that are wizzards and warriors compared to toas has made tao items a lot harder to sell and a lot cheaper in comparrison to warr n wizz items.
    so this could benefit the econamy and the un used items.

    But overall despite it creating extra work. I think ninjas should have some items bought into the game.

    new stats just confuse the issue, another thing to balance
    we never even had all the stats currently ingame working well so that would be a start, agil, mr, pr

    for me ninjas should use dc and mc, purely damage stats, sc is created for healing etc thats why its more powerful

    here is a crazy idea, make taos use mc for their offensive spells and sc for there healing/support spells

    That due to the fact that the stats didnt work on the old files, and we never had the source code to make them work.

    so with the new files can we just tweak the mc and sc to balance them, then taos and wizards can even use the same stat, just, magic

    Well more importantly i will be able to find out the ratio between DC/MC/SC so that the game can be balanced. Shame we will never know wat the old ratio was.

    Also find out wat acc, agil PA etc really do, i know what they are meant to do, but dosn't mean they do what they say.

    And new stats for ninjas was a question put out to you lot.

    I don't see why a ninja can't work off SC, DC and Agi. I think increasing the demand for SC items would balance out the classes since taoists are the cheapest to kit out and the most powerful class at PvP (before any noobs jump in with how much DC their warriors have, try and fight Snorkle and you'll see what I mean). Increasing the demand for SC items would increase the cost, which would be fairer all round.
    AMC and ASC seems like it's over complicating something which already works well to me. When the new stats are coded correctly like Magic Evade, Magic Resistance and HP regen I don't think more defensive stats will really be needed. Although on the flip side it would give much better control over the balance of classes at PvP. At the moment once a warrior is over level 140 it becomes impossible to fight them on a wizard with any realistic hope of victory, however a tao 50 levels lower can quite easily give a level 140 warrior the run around all day and cain them. Being able to fine tune the balance would be good, but would these stats be throughly thought out before being added to items/item sets?

    you have a good point, make having added sc on kit actually worth something

    for me the balance between taos and wars is fine, yeh at high lvls taos become tanks but ever tried jumping a level 140 war on 1 lol, fair enough u can keep them busy but they never gonna pop, a war jumps a tao and it could be gn
    the only class who gets a bad deal atm for me is wiz, as u know i play all three and all three are kitted very well, but the wiz is def the worst, on time i cant even mass kill mobs much faster than monk or wace
    spells need changing 2 make single hit spells as powerful as mass attack spells, and a tad of hp would be nice, granted they should have low hp but 1 shot by wars with lower lvls and kit is harsh
