and if people want to know something funny BigNev claims that he doesnt care about the servers but he managed to go and get him self banned from Extreme last night because hes decided to exploit the npc i put ingame to give HR players items to get them started and then proceeded to global spam and give abuse to people.



So now because of BigNev and a couple of other morons that turned up because Evo was down the NPC to give out starting items has been disabled and so has the Global shout npc.

i can see why lapta gave up on HR with ****heads like BigNev causing issues but instead of me giving up on Extreme im simply banning those that were taking part in exploiting/abuse, and to limit the flow of abuse i will get from BigNev he is getting a week ban from the forum too.

I wont put up with this **** on my own server, if anyone has a problem with this you know where the door it.

I banned him. Extreme is a decent server intended for all but also for families who have younger children. We have several parant sets whose kids also play. It is intended for those who enjoy playing the game rather than playing the fool.

All former HR players (who were not banned) are most welcome as you can see from Lone's actions to date. He is doing what he can to try and ease the pain caused by the rather brutal closure of HR. But it is fair to warn a few players that Extreme does not accept some of the behaviour, char names or langauge that may have been allowed on HR.

Personally, I like the old Russian approach to disciplin. If your aircraft strays into their airspace, two MIGs join you, one on each wing, and they 'invite' you to land at the nearest airport. If you disobey, your blip stops flashing on the radar. Same system on Extreme only its a GM that joins you and the minimap your blip stops flashing on

hmm on highrate its about 2b-5b a lvl on this 1 its like 300k at 70ish so if u gave them the exp that be like trills :P think that what u ment

My idea was to make it a free level linked 'pro rata' to the level achieved on HR. The EXP table from HR when slapped into an Excel sheet and cummulative totalled by levelled would allow us to work out what any 10%, 30% or 50% etc equivalent would be on Extreme, Evo or any other server. Its a pain to do (and does ypour head in) but it is a straightforward piece of calculation.

DiabloDoom dont worrie fella ive quit, it isnt a server without lapta tbh all these other GMS trying to get datebase from jamie and make people half of the level what they are pointles stfu and the GMS byebye lapta was OWNAGE cant beat a GM like him........

deep down u know that lapta is one of the best GMS my son, all im saying is i dont think its correct that *if* lapta has agreed with Lone to get the database that all of us loose bascilly half our lvls and people like me which have a full lord kit and theres quite afew tbh who cant even wear there kit so for example i am lvl 132 so ill be lvl 65 loool cant wear nufink i havent got time to start all over again Lone mite aswell not get the database from lapta and people who wanna play can jst play havent got time to constantly play this server anymore as u do move on and u do get a job/girlfriends family etc etc, so when i do have time to come on all im gunna be doing is leveling leveling leveling lool no thanks if this is the case i`ll just quite. how can u make sure that ppl will get the correct charas/accounts

im lkl lvl 200+ on hr, give me a lvl 100+war on extreme

not all accounts will have correct details etc as most ppl start private server accounts with random details, then the game has become long term after

do u have a list of all accounts and passwords 2? cuz the only way would be for sum1 2 give u these details and get the same account made on extreme

i dont see no reason not 2 take this offer up, might aswell get the charas now while i can, even if im not gonna play them

Its a valid point and would inevitably require not only the exp tables but other data to be able to check a chars history but the aim was to try and help those who feel they have been unfairly treated by having the 'plug pulled'. I know we would make some mistakes but if the lions share of HR players got a hand up it would be better than nothing and if a few got something for nothing or were to$$ers who slipped through the net well **** happens and we can deal with some of that after the event.

The HR players pretty much seem to have migrated to Evo and Extreme or Low Rate and those who have decided to call it a day may or may not restart but they do know where they can go if they want there Mir fix.

I suspect that with FrankLeeMad working his butt off on Extreme levelling, guilding and advising players that most are actually having the fun of being a noob again and playign with a new team. Implementing the levels 2 or 3 days ago had a real value in giving players a boost. The value is now verymuch less but the implementation hassle (and inevitable mistakes as Wacey points out) are still exactly the same.

I am going to suggest to Lone that he focus on events and in game rewards that are open to all rather than now trying to do the exp/level calculations. If we had access to the HR information when we needed it, it would have been frantic but it would have been done by now. Its all a bit too late as the info was never made available.

Time to move on I think, but Lone's decision

I'd asked Jamie the same thing (for the DB for character levels), but seeing how little help Lone had got when he asked for it, I didn't think either of us would get it in time - As you said a little earlier in the post, old HR players seem to be enjoying being nubs again (it's fun doing easy levels and get new kit often, rather than spending months working for 1 item) and most have moved on to one of the 3 MirRevenge servers.

It's a shame it went how it did, but I'm glad to see the majority found a new home and are enjoying themselves.
